So we felt everyone coming and going. Not the restaurants fault at all and wouldn’t have been a problem on a warmer evening. Highly recommended. The menu is reassuringly short and everything was beautifully presented, service too was attentive but not over the top. Only reason I have given 4* for atmosphere is that the bistro was almost empty - but it was a cold mid week evening in January. Paul Piazza2024-12-14Visited today for lunch, every course (3), was very tasty, vary well presented and very good value. The mushroom soup was delicious, with deep flavour, I could have easily polished off two bowls! The pork was succulent and perfectly cooked , the triple cooked ‘chips’ are the best I have had in a long time ! The stout sponge pudding was very Christmassy and tasty. A real pleasure to dine here, hope to go back next week!
